The Bobo tribe are farmers from eastern Burkina Faso, the mask symbolises animals or spirits and are worn during ceremonies associated with new crops, initiations and funerals. Among the Bobo, the sacredness of the mask derives from the fact that the divinity is considered to be present in the mask.
A very unique art object, this mask made of solid wood, which comes from the Bobo tribe who are farmers from eastern Burkina Faso. This artful mask is a perfect accent to any existing decor for any home. Small cracks, discoloration, etc are a normal part of the ageing process and add to the character of each item.
Comes with a wall fitting to make it easy to hang.

In the event that an item is out of stock the lead time for dispatch will then be between 1 - 3 weeks - you will be notified within 24hrs via email if this is the case.

International orders are dispatched with Fedex and EMS courier. You will be able to select the choice of shipper in the check out cart.
Fedex delivery is 7-9 working days, EMS is currently 25-35 working days.
